Accommodation options
Studyinn New Zealand
Our packages include selections from the following options:

Hotel
Students will typically stay in a hotel, 3-5*. In the larger cities like Auckland, hotels will range from 4-5*, with 5* available upon request. Outside of Auckland, Hamilton, Christchurch and larger cities, there are only 3-4* offerings, which are still safe, tidy, comfortable and suitable for the students. We can work with your preference for a hotel or recommend top quality hotels that we have an existing relationship with.

Motel
Smaller towns often have motels in lieu of hotels. These are cozy, twin share rooms with breakfast on site. Rooms are twin share. We recommend motels as an option for more budget-friendly groups as they are widely available across the country, providing a low cost accommodation option for each group.

Homestay
Homestay is a fantastic way for students to experience classic New Zealand life. Here, students are usually paired up with 1-2 other students from their group, and placed with a local family. Homestay offers three meals per day, including transport to and from school with the family, walking or on the school bus with the homestay’s own child.

Farm stay
Experiencing a farm stay is the best way to learn more about New Zealand’s agricultural landscape. Here, students can wake up in the morning and feed the lambs, or see cows being milked. You will often eat food harvested from the land and spend a lot of time in green pastures.

Holiday park campground
Holiday parks, campgrounds (private chalets not tents) and adventure parks are the perfect way to combine your New Zealand stay and experience near the beach. Each unit houses 2-3 students and is private from the public. Additionally, stays at adventure parks can include fun activities such as bush walks, team building, confidence building and leadership activities.

Self-service apartments
Some groups prefer to stay in larger rooms, like self-service apartments, which can be suitable for more independent groups. These self-service apartments are available across the country and are often just outside major CBD and busy zones, making them easier much closer to schools and local amenities.
